LINKIN PARK To Release Exclusive iTunes 'Live From Soho' EP Today

LINKIN PARK fans who missed the recent secret midnight show at Apple's Soho store in New York City can now rest easy. The band's electrifying six-song performance was recorded that night and is now available as an exclusive iTunes"Live from Soho" EP. "Linkin Park: Live from Soho" captures the sound and fury of the event, a night on which a packed house of lucky contest winners were treated to a rare and intimate performance by the mega-platinum Grammy-winning band. LINKIN PARK — vocalist Chester Bennington, drummer Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson, DJ Joe Hahn, bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell and vocalist Mike Shinoda — tore the roof off the Apple store, playing newest single "Given Up", the video for which will be released on iTunes on March 11, as well as current hit "Shadow of the Day", "In Pieces" and "Bleed It Out". Also included in the set was a stunning stripped-down rendition of "My December", with just Bennington's vocals and Shinoda's keyboard.

Joking with the crowd, Bennington said, "This is the best show in an Apple store we've ever played." The band stayed after the set to sign autographs.

The February 20 show served as a warm-up for the band's first-ever headlining gig at Madison Square Garden the next night. LINKIN PARK wowed the packed-house crowd with a set list filled with classic hits and new fan favorites. Jaws dropped toward the show's end, when Jay-Z walked onstage for a guest performance on "Numb/Encore" and "Jigga What/Faint".

In other band news, later this month iTunes will be releasing Joe Hahn's short film, "The Seed". The film marks Hahn's first non-music video directorial debut.

LINKIN PARK is currently touring in support of double-platinum-selling new album "Minutes To Midnight".
